Here's How Much Cassper Nyovest Owed SARS
Reiloe Maele Phoolo, Cassper Nyovest, is a renowned rapper, songwriter, record producer and entrepreneur.
In this article, I will tell you how he ended up owing the South African Revenue Services (SARS), how much and what helped him with the debt.
Cassper Nyovest rarely talks about his personal struggles, but in a recent interview with Slikouronlife, on Kaya FM. He opened up about a challenging time when he owed the South African Revenue Service (SARS) R16,8 Million and he had to pay R700,000 every month for two years.
He explained, "If I missed a payment, they would reverse the agreement and keep what I had already paid, leaving me with just R50 000 after making R700 000 rand or more each month."
This period followed his Fill-Up the Dome concert at Moses Mabhida Stadium. Soon after, the COVID-19 Coronavirus struck, leaving him unemployed while managing car payments and employees.
Fortunately, he met Lekau, who inspired him to start several businesses, including the Root of Fame Footwear brand where he collaborated with Drip and Billiato.
